| Sometimes inspiration comes to me in the strangest ways. For instance .... |
AVENUE OF LOSS
| This is a personal favorite of mine. It is now being shown across the country in the First National Touring Exhibition of Deaf Culture Art from September 1999 through September 2000. |
APOLLO'S KISS
| Integrating Motion, Myth, and Maleness in torso form. |
| THE BALLET BENCH |
| As an actress nearly all my life, I've always been interested in body language and how the body moved in space and time. When I segued into sculpture, I was deeply fascinated by the struggle between metal and the need for movement. Hence, I was intrigued by the concept of using a dancer's legs as legs for a bench and adding my own bit of whimsical ballet history to its creation. |
BUTTFACE
| If you've ever wondered what a buttface would look like, look no further! |
THE GLADIATOR
| This was inspired by a photograph taken in the 1920s. |
SAMMY'S GONE
| A remembrance . . . to a friend. |
SILENT SCREAM
| The unnamed terror scream within us all. |
PEACE
| This sculpture reminds me to look within to find peace. |
TRAPPED
| Based on that "inner turmoil" that even a perfectly placed mask can't quite hide. |
UNTAMED WOMAN
| When I made this, I was thinking of my dear friend, Alvaleta. |
THE WILLOW MYTH BENCH

| A private commission. |
THE FINAL BOW
WORKS IN PROGRESS . . . .
THE CLOWN MASTER
